Argyll Hotel

Isle Of Iona

The Argyll Hotel

We are a small owner operated hotel nestled in the village street overlooking the Sound of Iona.

We aim to provide a home away from home with all the comforts of great food and attentive service.

Dining At The Argyll Hotel

Our delicious food is served in our relaxed and friendly dining room or outside table service.  Breakfast is included in our room rate. Our soup and sandwich based lunch menu offers quick service and dinner is a la carte.  Booking is essential for the evening or if larger groups want to enjoy lunch.

Food provenance comes first! Handcrafted meals are created by Tom and his team, using only the finest garden and local vegetables, shell fish, sustainably landed fish, lamb and hogget. Mull and Iona crofters supply us directly with lamb and hogget (second year lamb), pork, venison and beef. We are members of the ‘Mull & Iona Food Trail’ .  This is an interconnected food network to encourage a local sustainable economy. Visitors can find where to buy local and which food outlets use local produce on their menus. Look out for leaflets!

Open to non-residents from 10am:
Teas, coffee & homebaking:             10am onwards
Lunch:                                               12.00-2.00pm
Afternoon teas & scones:                   3.00-4.30pm
Dinner:                                                6.00-8.00pm

Dogs and well behaved owners can be served in the front two lounges by the front door.
