Terms & Conditions


BOOKINGS

These terms and conditions only apply to bookings of up to 4 rooms. There are separate conditions for group bookings. Please contact us on 01681 700334 and speak to our Group Bookings Manager.

CHARGES

Displayed prices are for bed and cooked breakfast only and are inclusive of VAT as applicable. Prices may be subject to change in the event of an increase to VAT rates.

There is no charge for children under the age of 5. Children aged 5-12 sharing a room with adults are charged at £20 per night on a camp bed and occupying their own room are charged at 15% below the full tariff. Children aged over 12, or a third adult in a family room are charged at £40 per night. Dogs are welcome but a charge of £15 will be applied for your stay.  No other pets are allowed.

ACCESSIBILITY

Please note that due to the age and character of the building not all our rooms are fully accessible and our ground floor bedrooms have some steps to access them and therefore may not be accessible.

DEPOSITS/CANCELLATIONS AND NON-ARRIVALS

A deposit in the sum of 35% of the entire cost of your stay is required to guarantee your booking. The deposit is payable by Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo or Maestro. Please note your booking is not confirmed unless you receive a Booking Reference Number.

Deposits are refundable if cancelling more than four weeks prior to your date of arrival, or if the accommodation is subsequently re-let. For cancellations or curtailments within 1 week of your stay we reserve the right to charge for the full cost of the accommodation f(rom card details provided at time of booking) unless we able to re-let the room. We will do our utmost to re-sell the room and refund the deposit paid.

Please note that ferry services can be disrupted/cancelled due to adverse weather conditions so we do advise you to take out travel insurance as you may still be charged for all or part of your stay even if you are unable to take up your accommodation for this reason.

CANCELLATION BY US

Very occasionally we may need to cancel your Booking. In such circumstances, you will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. We will however make reasonable efforts to source you alternative accommodation.

PRIVACY POLICY

The commitment of the Argyll Hotel is to provide excellent customer service, particularly to users of this website, and we respect your rights to individual privacy.

The Argyll Hotel will collect personal information from users of this website which you will supply voluntarily e.g. information required for making an accommodation booking. We will retain your information securely for the use of the hotel only, and you will not receive any marketing information. We will never pass on your information to any third parties.

The Argyll Hotel may monitor and collect the domains of visitors to this site and may use this information for statistical purposes.
